Did you know that an individual licensed to carry a firearm may do so in public, openly or concealed, within a vehicle or without, throughout every municipality in Pennsylvania. AND, the police may no longer detain the individual to investigate if he is properly licensed. The Pennsylania Supreme Court announced this decision in May 2019 and counties all over this Commonwealth have been overturning convictions ever since.
The Robinson Rule that presumed illegality is no longer the law. As the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said in Hicks, there is no justification for the conclusion that the mere possession of a firearm, where it lawfully may be carried, is alone suggestive of criminal activity.
